I’m not sure how to feel about not making the all-state choir.
My feelings are conflicted by the same thought.
On one hand, I know that I could have done better, and the fact that I didn’t do my best is very disappointing.
On the other, I know that I could have done better, and I was very close. I had the ability to be in the choir if I had done my best. It’s better to know you could have done better and not get in than knowing you did your best without making it at all.
